The title is provisional: “Burlesque”, “One Small Step Too Far”…

Three masters of hip-hop dance — Régis Truchy, Mansour Abdessadok
, and Kader Attou — reunite on stage in a performance where virtuosity meets eccentricity, celebrating unpredictability and humor. Each dancer embodies a unique style and personality, creating a dynamic where their differences clash and fuse into a surprising choreography.

The first is a perfectionist down to his very toes, battling with his own movements in pursuit of an impossible harmony — a rigorous quest that constantly pushes the boundaries of his mastery. His style is precise, almost to the millimeter, yet his relentless search for perfection sometimes leads to involuntary mishaps, provoking laughter. The second is his complete opposite: unpredictable, eccentric, surrendering to wild improvisations that bring unexpected energy to every scene. And the last one moves with nonchalance, gliding across the stage as if disengaged, like a spectator of his own movements. This apparent indifference is in fact a comic strategy, subverting expectations of perfection and adding a touch of mystery — as if he were drifting from one corner of the stage to another by chance.

The piece explores the contradictions and misunderstandings born of their opposing styles. In each scene, their dances cross paths, collide, and ultimately intertwine into unexpected choreographies, where every misstep becomes an opportunity for laughter. A playful mise en abyme of failure transformed into art, it celebrates the unforeseen and the joyful collisions of their different worlds, paying tribute to the beauty of hip-hop in its most spontaneous moments.

The audience is invited to follow this elusive trio as they defy the conventions of performance to offer a playful, unrestrained vision of hip-hop dance. Moving between virtuosity and bursts of laughter, the piece honors the art of the unexpected — where stylistic collisions become a joyful, poetic material, and clumsiness and brilliance share the same spotlight.
